It was great to meet and join Pauline on her first mission today as we helped to tidy up Mrs J’s garden.

Mrs J is unable to manage the gardening herself so our job was to get rid of the weeds in the borders and cut the grass so that she could enjoy the view from her window.

Whilst Pauline trimmed the wisteria and weeded the right hand side, I tackled the weeds and brambles on the left hand side and opted for a hand pushed mower over an electric flymo for cutting the grass (this is GoodGym after all!).

We then both attacked the weeds at the top end of the garden and soon had it all looking lovely again much to the delight of Mrs J who seemed very pleased with our efforts.

As I discovered that Pauline and I are both South Glos residents we wondered where exactly Bristol ends and South Glos begins and as we left a happy Mrs J we had our answer - right outside her house!

A great way to spend a Saturday morning 😎
