4 GoodGymmers ran 6.7 km to complete phase two of rubble removal at a garden in Easton

A chilly, but sunny, morning greeted today's Fab Four - Deb, Emma, Richard and Dave - who, after meeting at Vivo and a quick selfie, headed off to Easton, arriving at their destination after a brief detour via the M32 underpass!

Warmed up by the time we arrived, particularly Emma sporting her merino wool top, we were greeted and refreshed by our host and then got stuck straight into the task.

Deb and Dave had been here before for the first mission and were pleased to see that the huge pile of rocks, bricks and paving slabs that they had produced last time had been removed from the site. They also had a good idea of the hard work that awaited them over the next couple of hours!

A huge shout out to Emma and Richard who were carrying out their first GoodGym mission - they don't come much tougher than this, so well done both for not only braving the cold but for getting really stuck into the task.

Dave and Richard shared duties with the pick-axe, which was the easiest way of digging out the rockage, whilst Deb and Emma tooled up with spade and fork to clear large sections of the garden, unearthing a weeble along the way, which immediately gave us our pun for the mission (we even sang the "Weebles wobble but they don't fall down" advert!).

The two hours flew by; once again this was strenuous work but so rewarding to see the difference that we had made to the garden (and the accumulation of another large pile of rubble for removal). Our host seemed very pleased with our efforts and there may be further opportunities for more work here :-)

Then it was back to base where we agreed that we had earned a good brunch at Mud Dock - very nice!

Great work today gang!
