Tonight 6 GoodGymers met up at our old group run hub, Fratton Community Centre to tidy up their outside area - as nature had taken over a bit during lockdown!

The kind ladies at the centre had set out a trolley filled with garden tools and a roll of bin bags for us to use. So, armed with gloves, some litter pickers and all of the centre's tools we got to work pulling up weeds between the cracks and in the planters. We even had time to venture into the car park border and path to the centre!

John and Duncan hopped straight onto the tools, discovering a handy narrow broom for the guttering and a spikey one for turning up the weeded beds (I do not know tool names)! Vicki got some shopping in mid weed; she found socks, a pair of boots and a hand bag! And there was lots of chatter about the GoodGym Games, last week's quiz and general catch up amongst friends. We commented on how tomorrow will be confusing now as tonight felt like an old school GoodGym Group Run Wednesday, including burp from Jen

After an hour the place looked almost anew and there were several bin bags filled with weeds etc! With the tools back in the trolley with said goodbye to the happy ladies and each other and made our own ways home.
