Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

It's a good thing that Rupesh and I get along, because we had not one, but TWO missions together this Saturday afternoon. Nice 😎

The first of our two missions was for Mrs A. Mrs A has looked after her garden for a large number of years, but has found that she's been less able to do as much in it as her mobility has decreased. This year, the growth got a little out of control, and GoodGym were asked if we could help out with this.

Knocking on Mrs A's door, we were greeted by both Mrs A and an enthusiastic dog (that annoyingly preferred Rupesh to me 😒). As we only had a short time before mission number 2, we hustled our way through to the back garden to get started as soon as possible.

Our remit from Mrs A was simple: we were to clear everything we could "except the roses and the vines". Happy with such broad instructions, Rupesh and I cracked on with whatever we felt like. Rupesh's task of choice was to fork everything he could (including an ant hill, which he subsequently put back together again), while I preferred weeding the patio. We consequently spent a happy hour doing our favourite things, including our now customary photoshoot. Today's effort features Rupesh channeling "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"-energy. 💯

With our hour up, there was still plenty to do. So, we made our goodbyes to Mrs A (and the small dog with questionable preferences) and recommended that she ask for a repeat visit (hopefully with three GoodGymmers).

On to mission number two...!
