It was great to get back to volunteering again having been very careful during the pandemic. Mrs S wanted her boarder to be weeded, she was not steady on her feet and could not bend down. She explained that her husband used to do the gardening but has now passed away. This was a straightforward task to get into and was very pleased I was warm enough to be in a T-shirt outside after a day of sitting at my desk. I had cycled from the other side of town so she very kindly gave me a Rocky biscuit to keep my energy levels up on the way back. I was delighted as they are my favourite biscuit and Morrisons have been out of stock for many months.
