For tonight's Part One of the Great Winter Plog, 9 GoodGymers met with their head torches a-flashing, ready to jog and litter-pick. With a list of local litter hotspots from Bristol Waste, we set off to get as many of them as possible armed with recycling bags, rubbish bags and the officially named Grabby Claws (litter-pickers, for those of you who don't know...).

We ran towards Riverside Park, where we stopped for our first pick, then ran through the underpass and back down through several other parks. Amongst the bottles, drinks cans and general litter, we found someone's discarded birthday card, a street sign and an unopened tin of peaches which Alice did an average job of selling off to the highest bidder.

We dropped our 9 bags of litter at the litter spot and ran back after our first successful Monday night plog! Watch this space for more installments...
