Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Tim Dickson
Bank Holiday Monday and it was very quiet at Bexley Goodgym last night. With all our regular Goodgymers away for the long weekend i was so pleased to see a couple of awesome Goodgymers from Hammersmith present themselves for roll call.
We headed out to Danson Park for a lake run and fitness session. Starting off with a rolling warm up we started round the very muddy and wet park. The grass itself was so waterlogged it would have been just plain cruel to do any fitness session on there so it was stick to the path Monday for this week. How ever the ducks were enjoying it very much (see photos). After a lovely chat and run it was time to head back to base camp but not before our fitness session which this week was called the 'Dead Leg'. The dead leg is a combination of lunges and squats all the way back to base camp Crooklog. Yep it was tough...............
FITNESS SESSION WHICH THIS WEEK WAS CALLED THE DEAD LEG
On arrival at Crooklog we finished off the Bank Holiday Easter weekend with the Chocolate egg buster burnout. More squats, High knees, sprints and the dreaded burpee. Well done team!!
After a lovely chat about Park running and locations we finished off a tough but fun Monday Goodgym at Bexley with some cool down stretches. Thanks Caz, Sarah and Johnny for making it this evening, you guys we awesome.
