Cancer research UK asked for help with marshalling one of their race for life events in Watford. Gus and I volunteered to help the in the morning session. We covered the 5 km split for the 10k race. It was great to see so many people taking part and raising over £90,000.

I’m so sorry you’ve not heard from me sooner, but I want to say a HUGE thank you for your support at Watford Race for Life and Pretty Muddy on Saturday! As I said on the day, we simply would not have been able to put the events on without you all. So thank you for giving up part of your weekend to help us put on a brilliant event, and helping all those people raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK (and to have a great time whilst doing so). I’m delighted to say that we have smashed the £100,000 we were hoping to reach – we have already raised £127,000!! This is an INCREDIBLE amount of money that is vital in helping our scientists fund life-saving research. THANK YOU for making this possible. I hope you all enjoyed the day and would love to hear any feedback or suggestions you have for next year! Best wishes, Courtney Courtney Culverhouse Senior Event Manager – Division 5 (London & South East) Cancer Research UK Mobile: 07876 390297
