Winter might seem like a quiet time for harvesting fruit and veg but it's all about getting prepared for next season.
Before we could spread muck we needed to take out the early winter crop of leeks (more like spring onions) and flat leaf parsley that was more like parsnips!
Sunny skies initially greeted us but we were lucky to get so much done by lunchtime as the heaven's opened and started spreading the goodness of the compost deep into the soil! Sadly it was too wet for the impressive after photos :-)
