Report written by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
It was so lovely to see so many GoodGymers out tonight – we were all a bit chipper! We met at the Pirate Park and right off the bat, started by asking howl everyone was doing and celebrating some wonderful achievements within the group. We welcomed Louise and Rachel to the Taskforce and congratulated Georgeta, Kanika and Diya who cycled from Maidenhead to join us. The walkers then headed off and the cycling trio acted as a very successful support crew for Amy R and Amanda who blew away the cobwebs and ran to the task together.
Unbe-leaf-ably, there was a bit of a mix up and the tools we needed were at another spot so it ghost without saying that Amy found us some hills to climb to reach our new spot for tonight’s steamy session!
The spooktacular spot of Hemwood Dell is a woodland hideway. There were no lazy bones tonight though as half the team got straight to work shovelling the woodchip whilst the others were creepin’ it in the deep dark woods dumping out the wheelbarrows. Sara was particularly effective at instructing the wheelbarrow wheelers where to stop and dump! By the time we left, the path was looking a lot more mulched and far less slippery.
Fangs for the memories Hemwood Dell – you were fa-boo-lous!

Haha, thanks ladies. Really lovely to see you both (and everyone else) again. I still can't get over how hot and steamy that mulch pile was!
