Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by James Poole
On a damp and rainy evening, five of Goodgym Redbridge's finest runners painted seven fence panels, learnt about the heaviness of rain and ran 6km in the process.
With the rain threatening to make the task impossible, it was down to new member Neha to educate the group on her new scale for measuring how hard it was raining. Now known as the "Pathak scale" - which ranges from 0-100 - this is a measure of "heaviness" i.e. how likely we were to get soaking wet. Mark my words this will included in weather forecasts in future!
With the rain dropping to 50 on the Pathak scale the hardy bunch braved the inclement weather and quickly painted seven fence panels that surround Wanstead House - the meeting point for GG Redbridge runs.
Fortunately the weather eased further to 10 on the Pathak scale all that was left to do was get fit with a 6km run around the streets of Wanstead and Snaresbrook.
Another great run and task complete in the borough and despite the soggy conditions plenty of good vibes. Well done everyone.
