Window of opportunity
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 17th of October 2015
On Saturday morning Ria, Ana and I met up in North London to give Mr and Mrs V a hand. When Ria arrived with a shower curtain pole I was worried that I'd missed the memo about bringing bathroom equipment so I was relieved to hear that it was just for a bit of DIY of her own.
While they got to work deweeding and sweeping the back garden I got a bucket of soapy water and cleaned the windows. It was a small garden but a mixture of their efficiency and my perfectionism meant I was still checking for streaks in my squeaky clean windows by the time they finished. Once we were all happy with our work we said our goodbyes and headed off, safe in the knowledge that we'd got our weekend's off to a good start.
