Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Richmond runner
After a 20km run I worried I would be low on juice to tackle a physical gardening task but once I saw Kate's smiley face I was ready.
We were in Whitton for our mission this morning. We were asked to mow the lawn, cut back a tree and some vines as well as an overgrown hedge that wasnt allowing our lovely task owner to get to her washing line.
Our first challenge was to get the lawn mower working, we battled with extension cables, wood lice, and even just kmowing how to turn it on!
PUSH THE BUTTON THEN PRESS THE HANDLES!!
And we were off , cutting and hoovering up the overgrown garden, which was great fun! Next it was the strimmer which we had less success with as we couldnt get to all areas of the garden - short cable problems!
Look at how much fun we have with a lawn mower! pic.twitter.com/R2cWbVwjbJ

The most fun had to be with the loppers , we gave the hedge over the washing line a proper good hair cut - grade one i think; before moving onto some vines that had grown in a Jamanji fashion through the garden fence , around it, over it and out again.

Kate was superwoman carrying the jungle out through the house and disposing of it, don't ask me where, she just went missing for a few moments and was then back ready to take on another load.
A neat and tidy mission (literally by the end) and a real sense of satisfaction.
