Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
We did it!
With a Shovel and a Barrow a team of 5 turned up meaning business.
We jogged over to the Urban Wilderness community garden warming up with shuttle runs and drills along the way.
I had cycled from chancery lane to the London Aquatics centre to meet my fellow GoodGymers hoping the rain would not keep them locked away in the warmth of their homes.
My was I surprised to see such a healthy turn out, this definitely proves a good will goes a long way. On that note. I would like to thank last night's fabulous 5 for showing up with such enthusiasm.
Upon arriving at the wilderness community garden we were greeted by Jaquie whom very willingly handed us a Shovel each along with one wheelbarrow. The group made light work filling up two large plant beds with soil and with in 20 minutes the job was done.
A task that may have very well taken one person hours to complete
With some time left over we hit some Hill repeats with 80% efforts all round before heading back to the London Aquatics centre.
The night was rounded up with some slow drills to cool down and a few well needed stretches.
**Good luck to Alice who will soon be running the Berlin Marathon.
