Laat night saw the return of light night tasks, and what a joy it was! With the clocks changing, we embraced the extra hour of light to join the Cheshire Wildlife Trust and Friends of Heaton Moor Park to tend to the park area.

Our task was to clear brambles and growth from the area, with the help of the wonderful Eve ( from the Cheshire Wildlife Trust) and a motivated Agnes ( a dedicated member of the Friends of Heaton Moor park) ... and not to mentioned one canine recruit!

While we raked and chopped, we heard all about the incredible plans for the area and the investment that Cheshire Wildlife Trust is bringing to Stockport.

Once the area was cleared, we scattered and stamped the wild meadow seeds and left the park with a Spring in our step!

What a way to begin the summer season tasks!
