Tonight was a big night for Stephen - 50 good deeds! And just in time before he ties the knot ๐ชข A massive achievement (and a new black tee in the post ๐)
Top work Steve ๐ฅ๐ฅ
And incidentally Stephen led the previous group run to tonightโs task at Crystal Palace Museum!
First up though, we had a warm up in the park and a discussion about who would make a great new prime minister (Liz and Rishi not allowed).
We then meandered our way up to the museum to met John and the friends of CP museum for one of our weirder tasksโฆ
The water tower was one of the creations of Brunel but now the top bit had disappeared and the bottom section was full of undergrowth. Thankfully the greenery had been mostly cut down and we just had to take it all out of the tiny entrance hole and pile it up.
How much wood can a GoodGymer chuck if a GoodGymer has got a seriously large pile of wood?
All of it apparently. See pics.
We developed a system of taking a pile of sticks to the hole for someone to then carry to the pile.
The future plan is to totally clear out the tower space to become part of the museum so people can learn about the history of the Crystal Palace.
On the way back to base we did various exercises with notable CP sights as a backdrop. The gang smashed it and we got some decent photos too.
Nice one guys โ๐ฅ
