The Dave, Elena and newbie GG runner Christine met at DMU. With temperatures soaring a shaded run a long side the river to the task was very welcomed. 5 minutes into the run and Sid, the first time in his 62 years was stung by a wasp. No major harm done and he was safe in the knowledge that medical student Eleana was on hand if needed. The trio arrived at the task and quickly set about filling thebin bags

Conversations between them whilst litter picking ranged from medicine to languages,they were even asked to join a local bowls club. With 5 bin bags full , the three had a jog back to base. Far to hot for any further exercise en route.
