I was back to get the Saturday morning goods in for Mrs J again. Last weekend I had taken a weathering getting the shopping for the lovely Mrs J, and had spoken to her daughter V, who had given me her list. This week as soon as V knew I was on delivery duty, she messaged me the list for the week.

The weather was on my side this week, as I dry-ved to Asda (I lie, I cycled, but I did stay dry) and got on with shop. The ewe-sual for Mrs J included shepherds pie, potatoes and prawn cocktail. There was also her daily mail, and her sweet treats - choc ices, chocolate mousses and of galaxy smooth milk chocolate.

I was on a roll. Toilet paper went in my basket, and then, fancy that, French fancies. A six pack of free range eggs, eggsactly what V had asked for. Then there was a bit of a ruckus in the dairy aisle, so it wasn’t cheesy trying to find a small block of Cathedral City, but we managed. There and there was also a bit of a fish-ion to get the birds eye fish fingers, as the last pack was hidden at the back behind the own brand.

All to do now was deliver them to Mrs J, who was delighted to see me again, especially as I had come bearing her favourite chocolate. She insisted I took another bar of chocolate, but I had to politely decline as I hadn’t managed to make it through last weeks yet! She waved me off with a ‘Love You’ and I made sure I cycled home safely as she’d requested (and, not wet this week!).
