We all met at Chapter from our different locations and then ran on to meet the lovely Mrs. R, she welcomed us straight into her home with a smile. We walked through to her garden, saying hello to her friend in the lounge on the way. At first we couldn't figure out what could possibly need to be done in such a beautiful space, she explained that there were some weeds that needed digging out around her roses, the climber on the bench needing a trim and the plant on the garage needed cutting back.

And so armed with the necessary tools we began, Emma and Mikey were straight in there to the weeds around the roses whilst Aimee went over to weed elsewhere in the garden. Having not seen each other in a while it was a lovely opportunity for a catch up and to hear all about the holidays that we've all had. A distracted Aimee was soon on the floor, but safe and giggling.

Mrs. R came out to see how we were doing and worrying that she had given us too much to do, but that just isn't possible. So a coffee down and we were off for round two. Aimee, now eager to get into the roses found herself stuck in a bush, undeterred she dragged those weeds out of the ground and into the bucket. Meanwhile, Emma now in the foliage, was tackling the prickly plant of doom (Earlier this had given Mikey a coughing fit). Mikey was now lopping like crazy at the air around the climbing plant that was reaching for the sky from the garden bench.

Once Mikey was done, Aimee took to the lopper like a machine and soon the prickly plant was no more...…….. We checked in with Mrs. R one last time, pruned some bits that caught her eye and then tidied up.

She offered to take a group photo for us, even suggesting the location of her beautiful white roses. After a brief chat about the brilliant pallet / planter we wished each other well and set off, back to Chapter and then onwards.
