For the second week RUNNING, our group run was to help our local not for profit creche to spread the word about the incredible facility they provide within the community.

Kirsty and I met at our Life Leisure base, ready to tackle a swift 5km run before meeting Laura at the delivery destination. The circular route was a perfect mix of hills and heat and we welcomed the restful leaflet delivery walk after.

Loaded with leaflets, we hit a local residential neighbourhood to raise awareness of a service that could be so important to many local families.

We walked, talked and posted the leaflets away before setting off on a leisurely return to base.

Shout out to Laura, who despite only just returning to running from illness, absolutely smashed her parkrun PB out of the water this week and shaved 5 minutes off! What a champion!
