1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Birmingham Central Foodbank in Birmingham.
- Friday, 10th of April 2020
- Led by David Halford
So after an early morning solo run, i made my way to the Birmingham Central Foodbank for the Friday shift.
While my usual task of sorting and preparing food packages was expected, the guys decided I needed to 'work the door' to ensure only 3 people come into the Foodbank due to the current social distancing rules.
For those that know me, my 9 and a bit stone frame isn't actually 'Bouncer' material, but all seemed to go well!
It was fantastic to have the opportunity to speak to people who visited to collect food packages, including a former HR manager who gave me his email address so I can let him know about my own job search which will be starting soon!
The time here absolutely flies by, and in no time at all the task was complete.
Can't wait to go back on Monday evening with other members of the GoodGym Birmingham crew.
