Thursday evening Paul and myself had the lovely pleasure of meeting Mrs E, who is due to go in for an operation next week. As she will have to use the aid of a zimmer frame after the surgery it was our task to make sure her corridors were clear of any hazards and obstructions.

Straight away we had noticed a bookcase obstructing the way to the rest room, we then spent much time deliberating exactly where we would be able to move said bookcase - as Mrs E would still need to know where certain things were. After making a decision we placed it in the bathroom and then cracked on with dealing with the other obstructions - another two bookcases and a pile of boxes that would block her route to the bedroom. After carefully packing away her special tableware we managed to find a home for the bookcase downstairs and stacked the boxes atop a wardrobe. I then took great pleasure in ensuring the paths were clear by giving the zimmer frame a test ride.

Before leaving we complimented her on not only the quantity of books she had but also the subjects of these books - they varied from travel, culture, history and music to name a few. Finally, before setting off into the rainy night, we wished her a speedy recovery and to to get in contact with Goodgym if she needed assistance again.
