Bexley Report written by Sarah Lee
It was a lovely, bright sunny Sunday morning as I made my way to meet Adriana at the mission.
We met outside the flat and waited for the neighbour to arrive who would be letting us into the property and advising us of what needed to be done inside to allow for Mr C to receive his hospital bed and return home.
Upon entering the property and making our way up the stairs, the neighbour informed us that Mr C used to be an Elvis impersonator and showed us the photos that hung from the walls of his time performing as well as posters in tribute to Elvis and other various Hollywood stars.
It looked like we had a big task on hand. In order to make room for the hospital bed, we needed to rearrange the bedroom, moving the bed against the wall to make room for all of the personal belongings from the other room to be moved into the bedroom. It was not long before the room was now clear and there was plenty of space for the new hospital bed which will be safer and more comfortable for Mr C.
Job done!

Bexley Report written by Tim Dickson
Lovely turnout tonight for our group run. We welcomed Adriana and Michael for the first time at Bexley. They have just moved local to us so it was really good to welcome them to the team.
We added a little fun fitness to our warm up before we split up into our two groups. The walkers set off on their shorter hike as the runners pushed out around two and half miles. Thanks Nick for leading the power walkers and Susan for leading the runners. Your help there is always appreciated.
Tonight our task was to give Adelaides mini bus a good clean. It was all hands on deck with the power washer, soap suds and a lot of elbow grease. After 30 mins of hard graft, im not gonna lie, the mini bus looked awesome. When Bexley Goodgym set out to do a task, we do the task, and we do it well. (gives himself a pat on the back).
THE MINI BUS LOOKED AWESOME
With time no longer on our side it was time to get everything packed away and get ourselves back to base camp Crook Log. Taking a more direct route back it didn't take the team to long at all. Thanks again everyone for your help and company. You are all awesome. See ya next week...............
