Southwark Report written by Kim
As Old Spike filled up with GoodGymer's, it signaled it was time to head out from the warmth and into the cold. There was just time for a reminder about the Christmas Party before we set off (11th December - 20:15 - Voodoo Rays)!
On arrival, the task was clear, we needed to clean all the toys to make sure they're clean for when they children play with them! Armed with the tools (soapy/dettol water and some clothes) the team set about cleaning every toy in sight. Even the sofas didn't escape a thorough clean, which is good because they needed a wipe down too!
A team of 4 went to sort the craft supplies, throwing out dried up pens, sharpening pencils and making sure everything was in a more organised order.
With not long to go and a lot of plastic balls still to clean and all the toys to get back into the cupboard, everyone stepped in to get the last bits done!
After a quick photoshoot and goodbye to task owner Valentina, it was time to head back to Old Spike which had the promise of Athletic Brewing beers.
Well done to everyone for tackling the 6km run with enthusiasm and also thanks to Daryl for leading us a much nicer route than I had planned!

Camden Report written by Ed Field (he/him)
8 GoodGymers and a few Vegan Runners met at the iconic Parliament Hill athletics track. The task was simple: ensure the safe transport of the Running Out of Time climate relay baton to the St Andrew's Youth Club in Westminster. The baton had been on a long journey from Ben Nevis this past few weeks and we didn't want to be the ones breaking the chain. A special welcome to Shiv who joined the run for his first ever session.
I always forget how busy London is, and in the early evening rush hour of a sunny Thursday there were people EVERYWHERE. We snaked through Camden, to Oxford Street through the Mall and onto St Andrews, dodging pedestrians and being held at many a road crossing. What was meant to take 50 minutes took closer to 80!
We arrived just in time to catch the last 10 minutes of the England vs Denmark Euro 2024 match, which appears to have been for the best.
The relay continues its journey across the UK. You can get involved: - Sign up the GoodGym Team - Find your nearest stage - If in London, come to grand finale in Parliament Square on Thursday 4th July

Bristol Report written by Melanie Young (she/her)
The blue skies may have left the scene but GoodGymmers far and wide had gathered at Telford parkrun from the Shindig and elsewhere, bringing their own sunshine to the gathered masses.
With first timers joining the parkrun family, people bagging their alphabet T plus seasoned parkrunners and volunteers, a huge group cheered in the final parkrunner and her entourage of tailwalkers and marshals gathered along the way.
The results are published for anyone interested in that sort of thing and we look forward to hearing of future parkrun adventures from you all!
