Hanger on by a thread

Southwark Report written by Southwark runner

Today 9 Goodgymmers went to help out at TRAID on Rye Lane to help out. They were finished with their autumn season and will do a full restock tomorrow. We took all the old clothes off their hangers and bundled everything into big boxes ready to be shipped off. There was even time at the end to do some cleaning up. Andrada and David shared the hoovering and then we were finished. Anca from TRAID send us home with chocolates. Great job everyone! We will be back in January.

Moooooore hay please

Southwark Report written by Lobo

The mission was to take old hay from the little calves and bring new one, but they did not agree and ate everything they could. They were adorable!! So we let them! We also gave them fresh water and picked up apples for the little pigglets. What a great day!

Weep it and reap!

Southwark Report written by Southwark runner

On Wednesday, we ran 6pm to YHA Thameside to help with some weeding. James navigated us there. We arrived in the hot and humid weather, just as a large group of school children were checking in. Emma and Jessie met us there. Amongst the chaos, we found a staff member who showed us where we needed to weed, as well as giving us some large jugs of water.

Once we finished, we headed off back to Peckham. The route back was chosen democratically. I was very tired.
