Today we had 4 goodgymers doing good deeds we had Jeanette at watermead, Dave at Abbeypark, Jimmy and Ian at Braunstone Ian done his 100th parkrun volunteering welcome to the 100 club 👍 welldone all

This week parkrun announced it had its 1 millionth volunteer and today 5 of them volunteered in leicester Martin at abbeypark Jeanette and Katy at watermead and Jimmy and Ian at Braunstone well done all.

Today we 3 stars of goodgym Jeanette at watermead Ian and Sheila at Braunstone all making the world 🌎 a better place well done all.

A great time spent with Rich & Pete from CRT, who with seven of the Leicester GG team got cracking cutting back the overgrown vegetation blocking the towpath and clearing up the rubbish. Dave saved a Hobby Horse from its watery demise - made a change from the usual shopping trolleys that we pull out of the water. Rich enjoyed his first Leicester session and will be back 🤞 Todays tally of retrieved rubbish: 13 coconuts, 8 bags of rubbish, 3 chairs and 1 Horse! Well done Nick, Julie,Melanie,Dave,Stu,Rich + Jen.
