It was fantastic to welcome back expert gardener Adrian who we hope will be able to make it back to us on a regular basis again.
Also brilliant to welcome new runner and New Zeeland Guide Sam who came along for the first time and seemed to enjoy his time.
And a HUGE thanks and well done to Jenny all the way from Dronfield for inspiring and motivating musician supreme Joseph to come on down.
We had to have a bit of a re-jig last minute after our planned run to help Common Thread was canceled a day before the task. We re-adjusted and headed to Park Hill to pick up litter pickers, bags and hoops and do a quick circuit around part of the Park Hill estate up Duke Street and down South Street.
As ever there was a lot to go at with all of us getting a decent haul.
After heading back to base at The Showroom, some of us headed in for a drink and some food and some headed home.
A big thanks to everyone for making it down and for all their efforts, it's all really appreciated!
Until next time, happy running! :)

The cold is here!!!
But we didn't let it stop us. As the mercury went down in Sheffield town we still gathered at The Showroom and headed a short way around the corner to meet with Jess and the gang at Common Thread to help with some mass clothe sorting.
The system that is now known is to grab a big blue IKEA bag which contains unsorted clothes and check for quality and stains and if good then go on to catagorize from there and finally bag up, date and label and send back down in the lift.
This way when it comes to the next clothes swap, items have already been sorted and are good to be put out onto the rails for people to go through and select at their leisure.
As ever the Common Thread people were so welcoming with snacks on the table and the offer a warm drinks!
We love coming to Common Thread and will be back once more before Christmas so get yourselves signed up for the next one!
Happy running! :)

5 of us started running from The Showroom. We stopped a couple of times to take photographs of The Big Moon. It was so low, big and bright and we were all over the moon. Nice evening for a run to meet the Sustrans team. John explained that it is no more called Sustrans but it is now known as 'Walk,, Cycle , Wheel Trust'. We worked hard but fast as we are all fit. The team were very impressed of how fast we tackled the street and collected cans, trash and rubbish. Simon came to join us too on his bike and trailer and he worked very hard too and longer than us because we all waited and chatted with the others. Eventually Simon came but were all still busy taking photographs of the Big moon.

It was great to welcome a new runner along tonight.
A BIG GGSHEFF welcome to Lindsay.
Thanks to Joseph to spreading the word and bringing new people along.
This week we met Gerry from Sustrans along with other Sustrans Rangers and volunteers to help keep an area of the National Cycle Network looking at it's best for all users to benefit from.
We got tooled up with litter pickers, brooms and snow shovels collecting litter, brushing cycle lanes and collecting fallen leaves.
There was plenty to go at and by the time we stacked up the bags at the end of the task next to the public bins we could really see the scale of how much rubbish we had liberated from these streets!
Until next time, happy running! :)
