With a combination of people walking, running and making their own way to the session, a group of 8 came together with instruction from the lovely John from Friends of Everton Park, we were left to crack on with clearing the saplings from invasive tree species that are quick to re grow each year! If they don't get cut back they take over the whole outer stretch of the park and affect the diversity of the parklife!
We made quick work of the patch John left in our care so made our way around the outskirts of the park knowing there were other patches waiting for us. In barley an hour we'd completed three large patches, a satisfying evening!
A huge well done to Dike for completing his 5th session!!

Mo has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Mo is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

This week three goodgymmers ran through the rain to one of our familiar haunts, The Greenhouse Project on Lodge Lane.
We met 7 more goodgymmers there and quickly got to work.
The task this week was cleaning the walls. This might not sound like much, but with a nursery full of budding artists, it was no mean feat. Turns out toothpaste does remove crayon!
Armed with buckets and sponges, we managed to get both rooms and the hallway spick and span - well done to everyone! Special shout out goes to Mo for completing his first task. Lovely to have you on board and hope to see you again soon!
Well done all, hopefully we'll be back at the Greenhouse Project soon to help out with their forest school!
