A wonderful morning that promised to prove that skin is waterproof...
There was to be no horsing around though as this was a serious matter....
6 GoodGym members put on their best smiles, donned a horse costume, made into a Reindeer by clever positioning of antlers (once all tags were removed) and galloped around the race course for a glorious photoshoot in the rain.
Raceways, who support the charity Kids Run Free who provide free running events for children across the UK and abroad needed some up to date photos to promote their Reindeer Race in November - it was due to be the Grand National Run but due to Covid has been cleverly adapted and moved to later in the year.
Santa Claus appeared to still be on his summer vacation though and members of the public, including a few dogs found the scene to be rather amusing.
But in Grand(stand) style the GoodGym group took it all in their stride....
As we were already on the course of Warwick Park Run it would have been rude not to add in a little jog around the route, although costumes were removed for this part.
Thanks to everyone for being such good sports and putting up with the rain.

Curly earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Curly completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Curly was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Curly has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Curly is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

This week we returned to Newbold Common to clear away the litter.
Splitting into two teams we cleared 5 bags full of rubbish including discovering the contents of a plumbers van.
It was great to see some faces in 3d again,
