Ran the 9ish km to help out Mrs L to clear her front garden. With the warm summer, the grass and weeds had taken over so needed a bit of GoodGym elbow grease to get it moved.
With a sturdy pair of gloves and a decent Flymo lawn mower, I managed to remove a lot of the long grass, remove a self seeded tree, and pull out any weeds that were starting to take root. 90 min of hard work certainly had the desired outcome, with the garden waste bin full to the brim.
Likely back again soon to help lop some branches from a tree at the back. More before & after pictures taken but too big to upload.

I volunteered at my local School Street with another volunteer. It was a lovely sunny day . There were several delivery vans but only a few cars with exemptions ! There were lots of children and parents . A little boy came along the road on his scooter at the end of the day with a big smile on his face as the road was all safe .
