I volunteered at Alexandra Park run as a Park Walker but when I arrived I was asked to be a Tail Walker. It was good fun I support 6 first timers with their walking . They all completed the Parkrun . Hopefully they will come again next week ! There were no other Trafford GoodGymers present. It was my 3rd Parkrun as part of the 100k March challenge for St Ann’s Hospice

It was a very busy morning with a group of graduates from the MileShy Club !! I was joined by the other Park Walker are I’d been walking a short while. We have encouragement to all of the runners whilst walking along chatting about the benefits of walking in nature . Unfortunately there were no other GoodGym members present . I’ll keep a look out again next week. They need to approach me if they attend I’ll be wearing a light blue hi vis jacket with Park Walker on the back

I volunteered as a Park Walker at Alexandra Parkrun today. I was a Park Walker and it was day 1 of the 100k March challenge for St Ann’s Hospice. I’m doing a combination of walking and swimming!! No other GoodGymers attended 😕 but I met and walked with a young man who was doing his 2nd park run . We had a lovely walk talking and walking in the lovely park on such a beautiful day.The daffodils were out alongside some crocus and snowdrops It was a fabulous start to the weekend and the month of March

Unfortunately when I arrived at Alexandra Parkrun this morning to be the Park Walker I was informed that had been cancelled due to ice. What a disappointment!

Well done for getting out there in dreadful weather to help Ally Park's park run go smoothly!
