So here we are on the eve of another lockdown.... and in true Goodgym style 2 runners made sure that we completed a job that we started 2 weeks ago.

We had put one coat of paint on for Art Beyond Belief and were due to return on Friday to complete the job.

However with all non essential tasks being postponed till after the lockdown we really didnt want to let our task owner Emel down by not completing the job.

So with a quick check to see who could help me today to finish what we started... Super Sara stepped up to the mark!

We arrived at midday and got ready to splish splash splosh! Actually we were a bit more methodical than that. Cutting in the edges first at low level, then up the ladder to cut in the high bits...(one up.. one holding - safety first)! And finally a rollering of paint to the middle... ta-dah all done.

Job done we took a walk into town to have a scoot around (but failed misberaly on that task!).

This mornings community mission with Art Beyond Belief was our first task with them. We were helping to revive a meeting/office area space so the charity could continue with their move into their new premises and get back to some kind of working order.

Nisha is an expert painter, having re painted her house numerous times, she knew which roller fitted on which handle! She gave me her best painted expression and got rolling!

Chris is a perfectionist. He took the cutting in role and dropped the tint that he knew what he was doing!

I had the job of painting the middle section (the bits that I could reach).

With a splish and a splosh, we were done by 11am. Leaving enough time to tidy up and book in another slot with Emel to do coat two.
