Bellenden Road Nature Garden

A community urban woodland and food forest project for biodiversity, food-growing, composting and practical wood crafts - for the social, physical, mental and ecological health of the community.

The garden has been unused and neglected for a couple of years. We have been given permisson to revive and reopen the garden. It would provide the space for members of the local community - particularly the Cherry Garden School, the adjacent housing scheme and the wider neighbourhood - to grow their own food and learn about food growing, wildlife and other natural crafts.
