A lot quicker to the actual watering bit of the task this week with the necessary knowledge of where they’re kept hidden!
Melanie had already filled a couple of watering cans when Frances arrived so it was a perfectly timed empty-one-can-whilst-the-next-is-refilling system getting the plants watered and still time for quick lunch before getting back to work.

After hiking uphill to find watering cans and then discovering (thanks, Alice D) they were at the bottom of the hill, Frances and I tag teamed filling the watering cans and watering the very, very thirsty plants under the huge plane trees. And chatted quite a bit 🙂

Shree and I headed to the Marlborough Hill steps to water the wild flowers that have been sown there and the lovely planters that have been installed. This was a renovation project was completed by the Bristol BID team to liven up a space which was previously very grey and sad! We will be going every 2 weeks (come and join us?) on a Wednesday to water the plants and seeds, hopefully by the end of Summer the area will be in full bloom.
