Children's Community Garden Clean up
Tidy up and weeding of a community garden used for a family after school club
The garden is set up to provide sessions for families with school age children to learn about growing their own produce, they also learn about composting and plant care. In between sessions the garden is used by other community groups for events , for example mums of SEN kids have used it for an Easter egg hunt, a women's group have used it to learn about planting herbs, and we have run a session for asylum seeker families on growing own herbs. The garden is maintained by volunteers when available.Upcoming sessions
