A Monday request saw 3 runners braving the elements for a delivery this week.
A very frosty delivery this Thursday on behalf of the Kenilworth Covid 19 Support Group. It was a lovely opportunity to spread some warmth to the local community with letters and chocolates for the local residents. After speaking to the leaders of the group, we heard how grateful the residents had been for out deliveries .
A special shoutout to James for covering 11km in below freezing conditions to get the packages out!
Although lockdown is a drag, I hope everyone is keeping safe and happy and I hope to see you all soon!

A nice change of pace for this week's task! We got the chance to leave our brooms and sponges at home for an evening and lace up for a delivery run around Kenilworth.
Each of our runners took on an individual route with a list of addresses to deliver postcards to the vulnerable members of the Kenilworth community. Despite the unforgiving conditons and couple of double backs, everyone was happy to get some miles in (without the competition pressure I'm sure!).
A big thank you to everyone that came along to help, hopefully to Covid-19 Support Group will have some more tasks for us to help out with over Christmas.

We were down to three Runners for this chilly repeat mission at the Pavilion in Kenilworth. Nevertheless, we managed to strip back another layer of dust to reveal some nice surfaces ready for painting. A HUGE well done to James for even attempting to tackle the back bathroom and to David for completely transforming the sink. I'm sure that once the Community Garden is open, the visitors will be more that happy to make a cup of tea in that kitchen!
Pauline was very grateful as always and may have some opportunities for us to help out again in the near future so keep an eye out. Thank you once again to everyone who came along and also those who couldn't make it but showed interest!

A last minute pre-lockdown push to get out some important Covid support information to some vulnerable members of the Kenilworth community. Despite a last minute change of plans and a lot of street names, our two pairs of runners took the challenge in stride!
Speedsters David and James finished their homes in record time whilst Holly saved us with her awesome navigation skills. Despite a lot of squinting at tiny door numbers and a little frostbite, we completed the task with a lot of laughter.
Big thanks to everyone that came along and even took a few letters along with them to deliver on their way home. A special mention to Allan who couldn't make the mission but picked up some letters for a solo mission that evening.
Becky was super grateful and would like for us to stay involved with the group during lockdown!

A bunch of Scrubbers took on a DIY SOS at an old golf pavillion in Kenilworth... Ok so there wasn't any DIY it was more How Clean is your House!
It wasn't the normal part of course to go so far from our usual home but we couldn't resist the challenge of clearing incy wincy spider and his friends
The task was to clean up the pavillion so that the Covid Support group can use this as a meeting area
It was a case of whose broom is it anyway as we set to work sweeping the walls and ceilings of Charlottes Web along with Fred, Dave and Johns Webs and all the other spiders that had taken over.
We found a hole in one room and scrubbed the floors, with great gusto, and carted the rubbish away (I really wish GoodGym could come sort my house out)
We also welcomed Alex, our new Area Activator, who did a sterling job on her first ever Community Mission.
Welcoming back Holly to the group was amazing as we've really missed her laughter as well as here photography skills. As we were on the home turf of Allan we got treated to his own version of Greese as he slide across the kitchen with j-cloths on his feet. .
Massive thanks to everyone that came along, Pauline was over the moon with how much we got done in one evening and can't wait to have us back.
