Ealing Abbey is welcoming back their congregation and building up to their full Sunday mass offerings and so need help to quickly sanitise the church between services.
Two Goodgym runners, Bernice and Michelle, met on the grand Abbey steps in the sunshine in amongst the Sunday worshippers. We followed the one way system around the Abbey and set to work with our sanitiser sprays after dividing up the pews of the abbey between us and two other church volunteers.
We were able to rapidly complete the task and soon found ourselves back out in the September sunshine!

Three Goodgym runners Kieran, Bernice and Michelle met on the steps to the impressive abbey and set to work with our sanitiser sprays after dividing up the pews of the abbey between us and another church volunteer. As a team, we were able to rapidly complete the task which seemed much appreciated by priests who thanked us.

Ealing Abbey are happily welcoming back their congregation post lockdown and are now offering two Sunday Services and so need assistance to ensure a quick turnaround of sanitising the church to enable the services to go ahead.
There were two other volunteers (not Goodgym-ers) who made up our team of three. Armed with sprays and cloths, we set to work blitzing the many pews with sanitiser under the beautiful arches of the abbey.
Now my third week in a row on this mission, I’m feeling the rhythm of pews!

Ealing Abbey are happy to welcome back their congregation after lockdown and are now offering two Sunday services. To achieve this safely, sanitising is required between services.
Two Goodgym runners stepped up to the challenge and teamed up with a couple of church volunteers to speedily sanitise the pews under the beautiful abbey arches.
The priests were particularly grateful for our efforts and thanked us for volunteering.
During the heatwave, the slightly cooler abbey was a welcome respite from the heat too!
