Tabi, Tara, Sherman, David and I met on a cold but beautiful Saturday morning at the windmill on Green Ridge to deliver leaflets for the Friends of Westdene Green.
Before we got going, there was time for Rita to wow us all with her unrivalled rolling over skills before breaking her leash in her enthusiasm to get started. Once Tara had re-captured her, we all set off down Mill Rise, with David and Sherman peeling off left with a plan to all meet near the cafe at the bottom of the hill.
This part of town (Brighton's best kept secret, to those who live there!) is very hilly and we got plenty of exercise going up and down hundreds of steps to all the front doors. In less than an hour, it was mission accomplished, with around 220 leaflets successfully posted.
We rejoined David and Sherman and with our 5 oat milk coffees from the local cafe, we headed off for a quick photo shoot and chat outside the barn, which is the community hub run by FOWG.
