Litter picking for 1hour at Dame Emily Park is a great way to raise awareness of the issues of waste and to encourage people to think about excess packaging before they buy, to encourage them to reuse it or recycle it, and not to drop it on the ground!

Proper Spring cleaning!

The sun came out for the Great Big Spring Clean session in Dame Emily Park so the park already looked great and just needed a tidy up around the edges where the litter hides and the mud accumulates.

With a bit of tying in of the willow structure (only the tall bits leaving the lower branches for the kids to tie in, and some cake and peppermint tea, Sunday was a good day.
