####What a lovely evening with much cooler weather!

The sun was still shining brightly when we all met up at the station. This was the first visit to Hainault station by Anit - well done and welcome! Hélène also returned to Goodgym after a while - welcome back!!!

Something Wrong (no. 1) said Linda when James was on time instead of the usual early! Thankfully James arrived just in time before we all worried why he's not there - it's just not right not to see James being punctual:)

We all assembled in the staff area and after a short briefing divided and conquered responsibilities of filling up watering cans, carrying them out and filling up planters reservoirs. Something Wrong (no. 2) was the fact that we couldn't find a hose that we use to fill the watering cans, that was very upsetting as it's a staple of our good deed at this community project - we had no Hose Power :( Thankfully Linda brought a second hose (it's really a hoover hose but still...) and we got to it!

This was a great team effort - we were filling up cans and reservoirs very quickly and Linda's ingenious idea of using a bucket made things all the more efficient. We watered everything in no time and managed to 'wash' the pavement and men's toilet floor in the process! Nothing a good mop can't rectify hehe:)

Jog on The plan was to slowly jog/walk to Fairlop Waters - Linda and Anit took a jog&walk approach, whilst James, Hélène and Julia jogged ahead into the park. We agreed to run around the lake clockwise whilst the walkers/joggers go anti-clockwise so we could meet in the middle! Something Wrong (no. 3) - what's that saying? 'God laughs when a man makes a plan'? Or something like that:) Basically we managed not to meet each other around the lake leaving poor James running the whole loop on his own! We realised this faux pas when we saw Linda and Anit by the boathouse and called James and then ran a little bit back so that we could finish the run together whilst Anit and Linda walked to Fairlop station as it turns out Anit's shoes were not playing ball tonight! Dearie me...

Anyways we managed to meet up in the field for a good stretch down and make it back to the station after a good cool sunny workout! Great session everyone and until next week, when we will be in Wanstead!
