2 GoodGym Coventry runners met at Edgwick Park on a dry and sunny autumnal morning for a litter pick around the route of the 'Let's Ride' pop up event organised by British Cycling.
Lots of small items of litter were collected as we checked that the paths were clear and safe for the participants at the event. The resident squirrel kept an eye on us as we made our way around the park, filling three bags with litter. Also spotted on our litter pick, at least three types of fungi doing their thing amongst the fallen leaves and tree roots.
An excellent morning for GoodGymmers supporting British Cycling in their work to encourage young cyclists in the local community.

Luckily, the rain stopped briefly so 4 GoodGym runners could head to and litter pick at Edgwick park. Well done to Katherine and Nigel who ran through the rain too.
The park had a fair bit of litter so we had plenty of work to do and after 90 minutes we had collected 7 bags worth to leave the paths clear and hedgerows tidied.
Let's hope Let's Ride have a great event. With Lil supporting the event after litter picking, she truly is a superstar. Liz x
