Luton Goodgyms turned out in force today to support Luton Foodbank's annual colour run.
After putting on the volunteer t-shirts and sunglasses, the team headed over to the paint station. This was essentially a box full of green powder paints that we were going to coat all the runners in as they passed by on their 3 laps around Wardown Park.
Surprisingly very few runners dodged the paint and instead opted for a good covering of colour. One participant asked if we could put some of the green powder paint in her hair as she had all the other colours but not green.
We had great fun playing with powder paints although our own clothes and trainers were casualties and we hope can we join again next year.
Great teamwork, everyone 👏

Luton Council are busy getting ready for the Love Luton Runfest. As part of the preparations they launched some publicity on the Town Hall Steps with representation from the Council's running Team. The Team will be raising money for Luton Foodbank.
Gill was running a bit late as, she was literally running late - thankfully running into town was downhill all the way. Yasin and Musa and were able to take a more leisurely journey to the town hall.
All three looked resplendent in their red tee shirts while setting up the signs/banners to help with the fundraising element as the team are being sponsored to raise funds for Luton Foodbank. We hope we will have attracted more people to take part in the RunFest and to have grabbed some publicity for Luton GoodGym and Foodbank at the same time.
Now to focus on some training ready for the big day on Sunday 15th October.
