One is good, two is better, but three's a charm!

A trio of Goodgymmers assembled at Meadow Vale Park to tackle another flower bed that had succumbed to the woes of lockdown. Guided by Fiona, we dug and raked, retrieved bulbs, rescued several lost roses and replanted the flag plants before finishing off with a lovely cuppa and our choice of bourbon, custard cream or oreos. While Rupert with his waggy tail was on hand to help with any crumbs. Sorry totally forgot the before picture, and can someone photoshop Roz in as she had to rush off before I remembered to snap any!

Weedily binding

Five runners (and Fergus the dog) bravely faced the rain to help clear flower beds and memorial trees from evil bindweed and other botanical meanies in Meadow Vale Park. Miraculously, the rain stopped as we took up shovels, forks, and shears to complete our mission. We cleared an astonishing amount of bindweed, excavated daffodil bulbs, and replanted some of the legitimate inhabitants of the flower bed. We even spotted the extremely rare Bristolian brown frog. All rounded up with a lovely cup of tea and a party ring. Well done team!!

P.S.: I may have made up that frog species..
