We always love to support Motherwell and tonight was no exception when the legend that is Maurice got himself down to South Cheshire College to help with setting up for their annual International Women's Day celebrations.
Maurice helped the rest of the Motherwell team of volunteers with setting up tables and chairs in preparation for the event. There's always a time pressure to get it done as the caretaker wants to lock up for the evening, so I know that Maurice's extra pair of hands would have been greatly appreciated.
Well done as always Maurice, you're an absolute star!

Tonight we were back supporting the wonderful charity Motherwell.
Karen, Rachel, Maurice and Nicola started the evening with a walk down through the beautiful Joey the Swan. As usual, we put the world to rights as we ambled (well, possibly a bit faster than an amble!) our way through the footpaths on a lovely evening. The weather had a definite feel of spring to it which was so nice.
Back at Motherwell, we set to work filling up goodie bags for their International Women’s Day celebrations. It was a bit of a challenge to get a good system in place initially, but once we did, we got into the swing of it and soon had the bags filled.
The evening wasn’t without fun and laughter and it was wonderful to catch up with good friends as always
Well done everyone, you’re all amazing ❤
Have a great week. Lots of love NIcola xxx

It was great to be back with the gang last night supporting Motherwell with their amazing charity. It felt like a long time since we’d last been together so it was nice to catch up with everyone again.
We were delighted to see you back for a second installment of Goodgym Rachel and really glad that the litter pick last time didn't put you off completely!!
Tonight‘s task was sorting out school uniform! Always a challenge, as there’s so much of it! It’s great to see so many people donating to such a great cause and it’s a great resource which serves the community so so well. Helps the environment too! Win win!!
Great to be back with you all, and looking forward to the next task!
Have a great weekend and see you all soon.
Lots of love Nicola xxx
PS - huge apologies to you Nigel for forgetting to give you your cream egg!! And I still can’t get over the fact that the rest of you don’t like them!!! What?!!!

It might be the middle of winter, but we don't let the dark and the cold stop us from getting out in the garden!
Tonight we were supporting the fabulous charity, Motherwell with a spot of gardening. Karen & Maurice took a greenhouse apart, cleared out the flower beds and planted bulbs.
Motherwell has had a new summer house in the garden which they’re going to use for counselling sessions. They want to make it attractive for people going through the garden - we're hoping the daffs, tulips and alliums will all appear in spring.
Well done both! You did an amazing job as always!

It was a super productive evening by two Super Wonderful Women!!! The weeding of the many paving slabs outside the Motherwell building is pretty daunting with lots of people on board to help, let alone just 2 people!! But that didn’t deter our determined duo who got totally stuck in!! I’m sure you’ll agree that the difference is incredible!!
Motherwell have some very special visitors coming soon, so enlisted our help to try and spruce the front up a bit before their guests arrive! I think it’s fair to say that the wonderful Karen & Kimberley! delivered... and some!
Karen & Kimberley worked tirelessly until 7 bags were filled!!! 7 bags between 2 people in just short of an hour and a half is pretty good going!!!
Well done ladies - you’re incredible!! I know that your efforts tonight will be greatly appreciated by Motherwell
Lots of love. Nicola Xx

I think tonight must’ve been the hottest night of the year so far!! It was definitely a bit muggy, but that didn’t stop Maurice and Nicola walking 6 km to deliver leaflets for the fabulous charity, Motherwell promoting a couple of fantastic upcoming events that support the community in a wonderful way.
Maurice and I decided to have a warm-up walk (let's be honest - we didn’t really need a warm-up did we?!) and headed down to the park. We did a lap of the park and enjoyed watching the squirrels, cygnets, ducks, swans and rats! I can’t lie, it was a very cute rat. Maurice and I decided it must’ve been a baby... as always, we put the world to rights as we notched up our steps. We never seem to run out of things to talk about do we Maurice?
We covered 6 km in total and got a fair amount of leaflets posted through doors. It was a lovely evening spent in fab company as always.
You’re a star Maurice, thank you as always for your support.
have a great week, lots of love
Nicola xx
