Three Goodgymers made their way to the Canley area of Coventry to deliver leaflets for the Myton Hospices & Pass the Smile for Ben Christmas Tree collection in our final task of 2024. Last year, £35,000 was raised for the charities and we will be hoping to exceed this in 2025. With a list of streets left to leaflet, we covered around 4.5km delivering leaflets and admiring the Christmas lights and decorations.
Big Congrats to Graeme for hitting the big 100 deeds! Here's to another 100!
Have a lovely festive season and here's to many more good deeds in 2025!

Despite the cold evening, four GoodGymers made their way to Canley to deliver leaflets. Laura, Lil, James, and Chris met up just outside the Cannon Park shopping centre to start their walk. The chosen route took us through a rather spooky alleyway, and out onto the Cannon Hill Road.
With much folding of leaflets, much hunting for letterboxes, and more than a little house envy, a good portion of the leaflets for Myton and Pass the Smile got posted to the unsuspecting residents of the area.
After avoiding a few wrong turns, we wound our way to the Kenilworth Road where we turned back to retrace our steps back to the meeting point. Although the selfie outside of Tesco perhaps wasn’t the usual GoodGym photograph, it was much warmer and brighter than the great outdoors.
There was a slightly worrying moment where we discovered how many leaflets were still left, but we gave our numb fingers the benefit of the doubt and congratulated ourselves on a job well done.

Check out this fabulous crew! We enjoyed a lovely run in the sunshine while spreading the word about Myton Hospice’s Glow for Myton and abseiling event. We were leafleting machines, delivering nearly 700 flyers and clocking up 7k running around like superheroes!
We split into two awesome teams of five to tackle even more houses, and we smashed it. High fives all around, everyone!

Woo hoo to Maddie for her 50th good deed last night!
This was our second leafleting session supporting Myton with spreading the word about a couple of fundraising events. We managed to deliver another 350 leaflets and covered 5.2km which was brill.
We wrapped up the session early to treat ourselves to a birthday meal celebrating 5 years of GoodGym greatness!

8 Goodgymers made it out for Myton tonight to deliver leaflets, advertising 2 Myton events going on this year.
5 of us met at Coventry Boys and Girls club then took a steady jog over to Spencer Park where we met 3 more of the group who made their own way there. We split into 2 group to try and cover more ground and ventured around the streets of Earlsdon dropping leaflets and checking out the handsome doors along the way. The pile went down quickly and we managed to shift 513 leaflets in 55 minutes, nice one gang!
On the way back into town we managed some fartlek training between the trees and then a meet and retreat around Greyfriars Green. Following that we took a slow run back to CBGC.
Shout out to James for his 50 good deeds tonight, you can now claim your black belt in Goodgyming :)
