Many GGrs gathered at Eugene's to share knitting skills to create together traffic light hats for premature newborn babies in support of the NHS appeal.
Shout out to remote multi-knit-tasker Kim knitting at her commitee meeting and hero Hannah, who had nearly finished her hat while we were still eating through the lovely buffet of food provided by Energetic Eugene to fuel our efforts.
We soon lost track of time knattering due to good company and focussing on our projects. Am I doing a knit or a purl now? :) We ended the night with smiley farewells to our lovely GG family and left with our project hats to finish off at home before our next knitting adventure at Daiana's later this month.
Getting to knits with it - Special thanks to Eugene and Daiana for teaching new GG knitters.
All knitting abilities from complete beginner to expert are welcome, we hope you can make it next time.

Those goodgym Gannets have finished all the pizza :)
A gang of goodgymers, hungry to do good and eat woodfired pizza gathered on Friday night to continue our baby hat knitting mission for the NHS. Diligent Daiana had prepped a colourful array of cast-on hat projects to get us up to speed :)
New knitters were welcomed, with great tuition provided by Daiana and her brother and Holly. Thank you :)
To keep everyone fuelled in our knitting efforts, knitters were supported by a team of goodgymers, who made everyone some fantastic pizzas.
The deadline for hat creations is the end of June, when Daiana will be collecting them and sending them off to be used :) Happy knitting :)

A lovely ball of goodgymers visited Knitathon hostess Kat's house on Thursday to make baby hats for the local nhs' traffic light baby hat campaign. Purls of wisdom Daiana provided lots of wool, support and guidance to help us less experienced knitters and new knitter Helen with our creations :)
We had a good yarn, music and snacks with GGrs also getting to meet Kat and Ash's baby tortoise :)
At the end of the night we took our knitting homework projects away to finish. Report to be updated on hats completion. Shout out to GG Laura W and Eugene who were unable to attend on Thurs so are making hats at home to contribute :)
Keep a look out for our next crafting adventure project night at Daiana's next time :) All abilities welcome :)
