Old Meadows Tenants and Residents Association

Association that supports local residents in accessing services, tackling anti social behaviour and improve the area.
We signpost residents towards services and liaise with the Police, Council and Councillors in improving those services, improving the area through updating infrastructure, tackling anti social behaviour, holding community events such as planting days for troughs and hanging baskets, hold public meetings to discuss key issues in the area and maintaining a small community garden.

Battling the long grass (and bindweed) in the Meadows

The hour flew by despite a spattering of rain early into the session. We were tasked with clearing as much bindweed, long grass and nettles from the compact and perfectly formed community garden. Leaving the team a good canvas to plan how they would like to develop the space for the neighbourhood.

Good gym's help was greatly appreciated by the Old Meadows Tenants and Residents Association they are looking to add another task to have us back to attack that bindweed again!!
