Spruce up of Windmill Gardens before a busy month of May events

Tidy Windmill Gardens park. Tasks include weeding, planting wheat and summer vegetables in terraced beds, improving the soft fruit beds, preparing the flower beds and all the pots for a colourful summer show.

Brixton Windmill Clear Up

Lucy and I showed up at Brixton Windmill this afternoon. It was peaceful work. We managed to go around the gardens with litter pickers and clear up.

After that we pulled out the hose and watering cans and watered some dry, sad looking flower beds. That was followed by the young fruit trees at the other end of the garden.
