Goodgymmers from Sheffield donated food and home supplies to S2 food bank at Christmas time this year, and included a few seasonal snacks and festive treats this time. S2 really appreciated it and were able to help the community out a lot this year.

GG Sheffielders donated 31kg of supplies to S2 food bank this month. We noticed that they were quite short of health and sanitary products, together with some tinned meats and vegetables, and were able to give them a good stash of stuff. Not quite as heavy as last time, but some of those health items pack a lot bulk per kg! Thanks to all.
Apologies for the poor picture; the gentleman in the distance in the high vis has just carried our donations into the food bank in this shot.

64 is a special number. It is not only a power of 2, 4, and 8, but is also the number, in kilograms, of food donated by Goodgym this month to S2 food bank. Big up to Sheffield members who made this happen! It was much appreciated, as always.

Members of GG Sheffield came together to donate no less than 82kg (!) of essential food and household items to S2 foodbank in Manor, Sheffield. They almost didn't fit in my car boot!
I did my best not to inadvertently donate my children at the same time when I emptied the car.
The foodbank was really appreciative of what we're doing.
Great work GGSHEFF!

Several goodgymmers kindly donated vital items of food to S2 foodbank today. The foodbank was low on all types of food and donations ranged from jars and tins to cereals, toothpaste and even some after 8 mints! Mmmmm...

GG Sheffield donated vital items to S2 foodbank, including some much needed items such as tins, sauces and squash, together with some special Easter treats!
The foodbank has seen a big demand increase from its clients since the lockdown, so this food is of great help and much appreciated!
Check back soon for more donating opportunities, as this will likely be a regular fixture during the Covid crisis.
