St Stephens Garden of Hope

The church yard is one of very few green spaces in Sneinton that helps those who are looking ot be in nature
We have started to shape the garden around church a bit more last year. We had some help in clearing a path and making places like George Green Grave accessible. People come from all over to visit that grave. We are also creating a space were people can connect with nature and God as well as have fun. It is one of very few green spaces around and we aim to bring joy to others.

Rachel, Peter, Tom, Leah, Nigel and Hannah made the trip to St Stephen's churchyard to help with a spring clean and "log" another good deed!

Winter had taken its toll and our job was to gather up the fallen branches and pile them up in one corner so Johannes, the caretaker, could have a clear run with the mower.

In true Goodgym style we got stuck in and carried, dragged and cut down to size a great number of branches and left behind a very happy caretaker. A "treemendous" effort indeed!
